These Official Competition Rules explain how RAFFLE-it Competitions operate, how Entries are processed, how Ticket Numbers are allocated, and how Winners are selected.

By participating in any RAFFLE-it Competition, Participants confirm that they understand and accept these Rules.
2. How RAFFLE-it Competitions Work
2.1 The Basic Process
A RAFFLE-it Competition works as follows:
- RAFFLE-it publishes a Competition with a specific Prize.
- Participants create an Account.
- Participants purchase Entries into the Competition.
- The Competition Platform automatically generates Ticket Numbers.
- The Competition closes on the advertised closing date.
- The Competition Platform randomly selects the winning Ticket Number.
- The Winner is verified.
- The Prize is awarded.
2.2 Fair Participation
Every valid paid Entry has an equal opportunity of being selected.
The chance of winning depends on:
- The number of valid Entries in the Competition
- The number of Entries purchased by each Participant
- The random selection process
3. Creating an Account
3.1
Before purchasing an Entry, Participants must create a RAFFLE-it Account.
3.2
Participants must provide accurate information, including:
- Full legal name
- Contact details
- Required verification information
3.3
An Account may only belong to the individual who created it.
Accounts may not be:
- Shared
- Sold
- Transferred
- Created using false information
4. Purchasing Entries
4.1
Participants may purchase Entries through the RAFFLE-it Website using the available payment methods.
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Apple Pay
- Other approved payment methods
4.2
An Entry is only valid once:
- Payment has been successfully processed
- The Competition Platform records the Entry
- A Ticket Number has been allocated
4.3
Unless otherwise stated on a specific Competition:
- Participants may purchase unlimited Entries
- Each Entry receives its own Ticket Number
- Each Ticket Number represents one chance in the draw
4.4 FREE ENTRY ROUTE
A FREE ENTRY ROUTE is available for each raffle or competition. The link containing the entry details is available on each raffle or competition page.
The FREE ENTRY ROUTE is via the South African Post Office.
The FREE ENTRY ROUTE entry must be sent on a stamped postcard addressed to RAFFLE-it and mailed to the P.O. Box number published on the RAFFLE-it Website.
It must reach RAFFLE-it no later than three (3) days prior to the closing date of the applicable raffle or competition.
One FREE ENTRY ROUTE entry is permitted for each Account holder for each raffle or competition.
5. Ticket Number Allocation
5.1
Ticket Numbers are automatically generated by the Competition Platform.
5.2
Participants do not select their own Ticket Numbers.
5.3
Each Ticket Number is:
- Unique
- Linked to the Participant’s Account
- Assigned to one specific Competition
5.4
RAFFLE-it employees cannot manually allocate winning Ticket Numbers.
6. Competition Information
6.1
Each Competition page will display important information, including:
- Competition name
- Prize details
- Entry cost
- Closing date
- Draw date
- Competition type
- Any special conditions
6.2
Participants should review all Competition information before purchasing Entries.
7. Competition Categories
7.1 Guaranteed Competitions
A Guaranteed Competition means the advertised Prize will be awarded regardless of the number of Entries sold.
7.2 Conditional Competitions
A Conditional Competition means the Prize may depend on achieving a stated requirement.
Where applicable, the Competition page will clearly explain:
- The required condition
- The alternative Prize arrangement
- Any special rules
8. Closing of Competitions
8.1
Once a Competition closes:
- No additional Entries will be accepted
- The final Entry list will be recorded
- The draw process will begin
8.2
Only valid paid Entries included in the final Competition records will be eligible for the draw.
9. Draw Process
9.1
The draw will take place on the advertised Draw Date.
9.2
RAFFLE-it uses automated Competition software to conduct random Ticket Number selection.
9.3
The selection process is:
- Random
- Automated
- Not manually controlled
10. Random Winner Selection
10.1
The Competition Platform randomly selects the winning Ticket Number from all valid Entries.
10.2
The selected Participant becomes the provisional Winner pending successful verification.
10.3
RAFFLE-it does not choose Winners manually.
11. Multiple Prize Competitions
11.1
Some RAFFLE-it Competitions may offer more than one Prize.
The available Prizes will be clearly displayed on the relevant Competition page.
11.2
Where multiple Prizes are available:
- The Competition Platform will randomly select the first winning Ticket Number.
- The first selected Winner will receive the first Prize as described.
- Additional Ticket Numbers will then be randomly selected for any remaining Prizes.
11.3
Unless specifically stated otherwise:
- A Participant may not win more than one Prize in the same Competition.
- Each selected Ticket Number must belong to a valid Entry.
- Invalid Entries will be removed and another Ticket Number may be selected where necessary.
12. Winner Verification
12.1
A selected Winner must complete the verification process before a Prize can be released.
12.2
RAFFLE-it may require the Winner to provide:
- A valid South African Identity Document
- A valid Driver’s Licence
- Proof of address
- Proof of ownership of the payment method used
- Any other reasonable information required to confirm eligibility
12.3
The purpose of verification is to:
- Confirm the Winner’s identity
- Prevent fraud
- Protect Participants
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
12.4
If a Winner cannot successfully complete verification, RAFFLE-it may:
- Cancel the winning Entry
- Disqualify the Participant
- Select another valid Winner where appropriate
13. Winner Announcement
13.1
RAFFLE-it believes that transparency is important and may announce Winners through its official communication channels.
13.2
Winner announcements may include:
- Winner’s name
- General location (such as city or suburb)
- Prize won
- Photographs
- Video footage
- Prize presentation content

Winner announcements may appear on:

- Marketing material

13.4
Publicity is subject to the Winner publicity provisions contained in the RAFFLE-it Official Competition Terms & Conditions.
14. Prize Collection and Delivery
14.1 Collection
Where available, Winners may collect their Prize from a nominated RAFFLE-it collection location.
Collection arrangements must be made with RAFFLE-it before collection.
14.2 Delivery
Where a Winner requests delivery:
- Delivery arrangements must be approved by RAFFLE-it.
- The Winner is responsible for delivery costs unless otherwise stated.
- The Winner must provide accurate delivery information.
14.3 Storage
Winners are required to claim their Prize within the period specified in the Official Competition Terms & Conditions.
Where additional storage is required due to a delay by the Winner:
- Storage arrangements must be agreed with RAFFLE-it.
- Any associated storage costs may be payable by the Winner.
14.4 Vehicle Prizes
Where the Prize is a motor vehicle, the Winner is responsible for costs associated with ownership transfer and ongoing ownership unless otherwise stated.
These costs may include:
- Registration
- Licensing
- Insurance
- Maintenance
- Running costs
15. Cash Alternative Rules
15.1
Certain Competitions may provide a cash alternative instead of the advertised Prize.
15.2
Where a cash alternative exists:
- It will be clearly displayed before Entry purchase.
- The Winner may choose between the advertised Prize and the stated cash alternative.
- The cash alternative amount cannot be negotiated.
15.3
Where no cash alternative is advertised, the Winner must accept the advertised Prize.
16. Fairness and Transparency
16.1
RAFFLE-it is committed to ensuring that all Competitions are conducted fairly and transparently.

RAFFLE-it promotes transparency through:
- Automated Ticket Number allocation
- Automated random Winner selection
- Published Draw Dates
- Winner verification
- Live draw broadcasts where applicable

No RAFFLE-it employee, director, shareholder, contractor or representative may influence the outcome of any Competition.
17. Fraud Prevention

RAFFLE-it reserves the right to investigate any suspicious activity relating to Competitions or Participant Accounts.

Examples of prohibited behaviour include:
- Creating false Accounts
- Using stolen payment information
- Manipulating systems
- Attempting to interfere with Competition results
- Providing false or misleading information

Where fraud is suspected, RAFFLE-it may:
- Cancel affected Entries
- Suspend or terminate Accounts
- Refuse Prize payment or Prize release
- Report the matter to the relevant authorities where appropriate
18. Technical Issues
18.1
RAFFLE-it uses automated software systems to manage Competitions.
18.2
In the event of a technical issue affecting:
- Ticket allocation
- Payment processing
- Website operation
- Draw procedures
RAFFLE-it will investigate the issue and take reasonable steps to protect Participants and maintain the integrity of the Competition.
18.3
Where necessary, RAFFLE-it may delay, correct or cancel affected actions to ensure fairness.
19. Responsible Participation
19.1
RAFFLE-it encourages all Participants to participate responsibly.
19.2
Participants should only purchase Entries within their personal financial means.
19.3
Participation should be viewed as entertainment and not as a guaranteed method of obtaining a Prize.
19.4
Every Participant should understand that:
- Winning is based on random selection.
- Purchasing more Entries increases the probability of winning but does not guarantee success.
- Other Participants may also purchase Entries into the same Competition.
